Boston Home Bodies is going to have to change it's name pretty soon! That's because we are no longer just offering training in the Greater Boston area but around the world!
This morning I had my first session with a client in Paris, France!! We made it happen on
Skype.com. Skype is a video phone site where you can chat with friends face to face over the internet. A webcam is all you need to make it happen.
I was quite nervous about how it would turn out but after some simple sound adjustments, the session went fabulously! We did have the advantage of having trained face-to-face previously when she lived in Boston but I do think this is a new and easy way to get fit in the comfort of your home and for half the price of face-to-face training.
Our next session is next week...wish me luck!
Yours in health and fitness,
Janine

Today I had a great training session with my client fearless Mary and her daughter Ruth Anne. They are training to run the Boston Marathon in April along with papa McManus. Together they form Team McManus. And the story doesn't end there...
When I first started training with Mary, she couldn't get up out of a low chair due to the debilitating effects of Post-Polio Syndrome. On April 20th she is going to run 26.2 miles...26.2 miles!
If you are as inspired as I am by her fearless dedication and spirit, you can donate to Team McManus on their website
www.firstgiving.com/teammcmanus, any amount is appreciated and will go directly to benefit Spaulding Rehab Hospital in Boston.
Another way to support Team McManus is to join us on Saturday, March 14th for an evening of A Capella music featuring Ball In the House and Brookline High School A Capella Groups. Tickets are $10 in advance at
http://www.evite.com/pages/invite/viewInvite.jsp?inviteId=NPIJTDHHKVIBPEFQASDD&li=iq&src=email or $12 at the door...won't you join us?
